Portable Speaker Concept

John was asked to design a wireless speaker concept for the luxury consumer electronics brand, KEF. The result, a portable speaker with great sound on the go, a longer playtime, an intuitive touch- and voice-activated interface on top. Internal design protects against drops and falls from a hard anodised aluminium shell part covered with soft textile. A balancing of heritage and innovation, utility and luxury, nature and technology, materiality and form.
