Bang & Olufsen

Durable Danish Design

Bang & Olufsen presents “Durable Danish Design” - new technologies, ergonomics, humanized aesthetics. A travelling exhibition first shown at Salone del Mobile, Milano. A project of John Sebastian in collaboration with DuPont™ Corian®.

"Within some projects I developed in the recent past, I discovered the unique design versatility, the formability and the visual lightness of DuPont™ Corian®, an advanced material made by DuPont company combining properties of both metals and advanced resins. For this project, I wanted to explore and expand the tactility, the sensoriality of DuPont™ Corian® by creating a seating solution that would accommodate the current needs and behaviour of people, while balancing art, aesthetics and science."
